Tatulos programa, NPO (22-03-2011)

Provides farmers and companies with versatile support in the field of conversion into organic farming or sustainable farming (including a variety of subsidies made available to the members, long term interest-free loans issued in 1993-1997, short term interest-free loans made available after 1997, and providing assistance in the sale of organic produce to the members, or any farmer of the country engaged in organic farming).
Organises fairs of organic produce in Vilnius and other places of the country since 1995. Tatulos Programa NPO also takes part in exhibitions and fairs arranged by others domestically, as well as abroad.
Conducts retail sale of organic produce through it's trade-name outlets since 1998, and has been involved in setting up organic produce outlets at major supermarkets.
Seeks markets for organic produce domestically and internationally.
Has been involved in the construction of waste-water treatment plants in rural settlements and at farms, the construction of manure disposal facilities at farms, as well as implementation of environmental measures.
Approved Sustainable Agriculture Rules in December 2002 (prepared to the order of Tatulos Programa NPO), and convened a certification board for sustainable agriculture certification thus commencing the implementation of sustainable farming.
Has been continuously employing a variety of means to promote organic and sustainable farming in mass media. Tatula has been involved in publishing, education and provides consulting to farmers and general public.
Has been involved in the monitoring of natural environment (Tatula has coworked with over ten education, science and other establishments over the period from 1993 to 1998).

The products supplied by Tatulos Programa NPO members may also be purchased at the specialist trade-name store in Birzai, at Vytauto Street 31, and special organic produce outlets at some major supermarkets chains.
